The Rise of the International Awakening Movement (IAM)
Celebrating a Century of Remembering
It began, as many awakenings do, in the stillness of a quiet morning.
I was sitting with my worn copy of The Game of Life and How to Play It by Florence Scovel Shinn—first published in 1925. I’d read it before, but this time was different. The words didn’t just land—they stirred something ancient and electric in me.
It wasn’t just a book about affirmations anymore. It felt like a living blueprint. A spiritual map etched in invisible ink, revealing itself when the heart is ready to see.
“Man must prepare for the thing he has asked for, when there isn’t the slightest sign of it in sight.”
That line cracked something open in me.
In a world overwhelmed by noise, distraction, and disconnection, I saw the need for something simple. Something sacred. A moment of collective remembering.
What if there was a single day devoted to awakening?
A day to pause.
To affirm.
To return to the truth of who we are—not by title, wealth, or role, but by essence.
And so, the seed of IAMday was planted—one hundred years after Florence first shared her message with the world. A message that quietly found its way into the hands and hearts of many, long before it became a movement.
Her ripple became a wave.
Through the decades, others heard the call and carried the torch forward.
Louise Hay, who once described herself as “a late bloomer,” found her way to Florence’s teachings and laid the foundation for a publishing house that would change millions of lives. She reminded us that our thoughts could heal our bodies—and our lives.
Wayne Dyer picked up that golden thread too, blending metaphysical wisdom with modern psychology, making soul truths accessible to a generation searching for more. He often spoke of intention, alignment, and the “I AM” presence within us all. He, too, traced his spiritual lineage back to Florence—whether overtly or in spirit.
And now, here we are.
The International Awakening Movement (IAM) is not an organization. It’s not a brand. It’s a remembering. A re-gathering of souls who’ve heard the whisper that there’s more. That we are more.
IAMday is not mine alone.
It belongs to anyone who has paused, mid-chaos, to ask: "Who am I really, and why am I here?"
It belongs to those who feel the soft nudge of awakening. The ones who can no longer live numb. The ones ready to step into their own light.
Whether you gather with others or sit in silence…
Whether you light a candle, speak your truth aloud, or simply place a hand over your heart and whisper “I am”…
You are part of this.
This is your call to prepare—not through striving, but through remembering.
To realign.
To embody.
To awaken.

And let your light be the one that lights another.
We are not starting something new.
We are continuing something eternal.
